Wright Kite Festival
Grab the kids, some kites and head to Wright Brothers National Memorial Park for the annual Wright Kite Festival. Enjoy the large kites that will be flying on display, take stunt and power kite flying lessons and/or tour a kite making station. Be sure to tour the museum and grounds to learn about Wilbur & Orville Wright and their place in the history of flight.
Killer Dunes 2-Miler & Fun Run
Start your 4th of July holiday with a challenge. Join fellow enthusiasts in the OBX Running Club’s Killer Dunes 2-Miler & Fun Run at Jockey’s Ridge State Park. Adults and children alike may come and run/walk the 2-mile or the 1/4 fun run. A great way to start your day!
Annual Roll and Stroll
Join fellow art enthusiasts in strolling in and out of participating businesses providing art shows, food, live music, poetry readings and more. The Annual Roll and Stroll is a free event and is brought to you by the Gallery Row Arts District in Nags Head.
