1. How do I get to the resort?

Click on the Contact Us page on our Menu list at top of page. You will find the address and a Google map.

2. How far is the resort from the beach?

Sea Scape is located 2.5 blocks from the beach. Public beach access is available first come, first serve every few miles along highway 12.

3. What time is check- in/out?

Check-in is at 4 pm. on Saturday or Sunday. Check-out is at 10 am. There are no exceptions for earlier check-ins or late check-outs.

4. Can I switch my unit for another?

Sea Scape makes every effort to accommodate the needs of our owners and guests. If you require a downstairs unit due to health issues, please contact the office to see if there is any availability. You would also need to contact the office ahead of time if you need a unit that will accommodate a handi-ramp, as well.

5. How do I sell my timeshare?

The Property Management Office will be happy to list your week on the For Sale by Owners listing which is available at the Sea Scape Front office and at the Sea Scape Recreation Center. (The website display of this list is currently under reconstruction.) Please email the week number and condominium unit number of your week, along with your contact information, to ssinfo@spmresorts.com. You can also mail the information to Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas, PO Box 1257, Kitty Hawk, NC 27949

If you sell your week, please notify Sea Scape as soon as possible so we may remove your listing. Keep in mind that all outstanding maintenance fees must be paid in full before ownership can be changed. Please make sure you provide Sea Scape with a copy of the “Recorded Deed” so that we can legally transfer your ownership to the new purchaser. Per resolution of the Sea Scape Board of Directors, any transfer of a week into the name of an LLC entity requires a payment of $3,000.00 in order to process the transfer.

6. Can I bring my pet?

Sea Scape has a “no pet” policy. There are several local facilities here for boarding your pet. Please contact the property management office for more information at 252-261-3837.

7. When does my week start?

If you have a Saturday check-in Week 1 is always the first Saturday in January. If you have a Sunday check-in Week 1 is always the first Sunday in January. A current calendar can be located under the Owner Information tab.

8. What is a Right-to-Use?

If you are unable to use your week you can allow friends or family to use it instead. You are giving them a right-to-use. This information must be provided to Sea Scape in writing, preferably before check-in. Check in for your guest and the staff will go much easier if the right-to-use was sent previous to the check in day. We will need your guest’s name, address, contact info, your name, your unit and your week. There are a couple of ways for you to provide this information. Simply send an e-mail to ssinfo@spmresorts.com or return the owner confirmation sheet you received in the mail with that section completed. Remember, this is for the safety of our owners and the resort. There are no exceptions.

9. How do I space bank my time?

Sea Scape has affiliations with RCI, Interval International and Dial-an-Exchange timeshare exchange service companies. Owner Membership is a must for space banking. Please contact these companies for an overview of their programs and dues. The resort requires that maintenance fees be paid before any space banking will be approved. You can bank time up to 2 years in advance.

10. What is in my unit?

Each unit comes equipped with a starter pack that contains one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, two mini bars of soap for each bathroom, and five gray and five clear trash bags. You must provide your own thereafter. Each regular size unit comes with a fully equipped kitchen including dish washing liquid, linens for all the beds and six bath towels, six hand towels and six washcloths in each bathroom. An iron, an ironing board, and a blow dryer are also available in the unit. There is a free wifi connection in each unit and a house phone, as well. Hotel units come with all of the above except a fully furnished kitchen. Their kitchens have a dorm size refrigerator, a microwave, a crock pot and no dishwasher.

11. Can you help with my luggage upon arrival/departure?

Sea Scape is happy to help with your needs. Please contact the resort prior to arrival to make arrangements or check with security at the guard gate.

12. Am I able to receive messages in my unit?

Each unit has a direct dial telephone. It does not have an answering machine. You may bring one with you should you feel you need to receive messages.

13. Can I fax, photo copy or check my e-mail?

All units have wifi connection. You may fax or photo copy small quantities for a small fee. Please contact the property management office for details.

14. What is my golf privilege?

Sea Scape owners receive 8 rounds of golf per deeded week. The owner must be in residence during their deeded week or, in residence a different week through an exchange. Owners are responsible for their own cart fees. This privilege is not transferable.

15. How do I make a tee time?

You must contact Sea Scape Golf Links to arrange a tee time. You will be asked for a credit card to reserve a tee time. Their number is 252-261-2158 or click on the link to the golf course above. Tee time may be made up to a year in advance.

16. What happens if I need to cancel my tee time? Will I still have my credit card charged?

The golf course reserves the right to charge your credit card if you cancel your tee time within 48 hours.
