How far is the resort from the beach?
Sea Scape is located 2.5 blocks from the beach. There are numerous free, public beach accesses. Along Hwy 12, with parking on a first come, first serve basis.
What time is check- in/out?
Check-in is at 5 pm. on Saturday or Sunday. Check-out is at 10 am. We regret that we are not able to offer earlier check-ins or late check-outs.
Can I switch my villa for another?
Sea Scape makes every effort to accommodate the needs of our owners and guests. If you require a downstairs villa due to health issues, please contact the office to see if there is any availability. You will also need to contact the office ahead of time if you need a villa that will accommodate a handi-ramp, as well.
Can I bring my pet?
Sea Scape has a “no pet” policy. There are several local facilities nearby for boarding your pet. Please contact the property management office for more information at 252-261-3837.
When does my week start?
If you have a Saturday check-in Week 1 is always the first Saturday in January. If you have a Sunday check-in Week 1 is always the first Sunday in January. A current calendar can be located under the Owner Information tab.
What is a Right-to-Use?
If you are unable to use your week you can allow friends or family to use it instead. You are giving them a right-to-use. This information must be provided to Sea Scape in writing, preferably before check-in. Check in for your guest and the staff will go much easier if the right-to-use was sent previous to the check in day. We will need your guest’s name, address, contact info, your name, your villa and your week. There are a couple of ways for you to provide this information. Simply send an e-mail to email@example.com or return the owner confirmation sheet you received in the mail with that section completed. Remember, this is for the safety of our owners and the resort. There are no exceptions.
How do I space bank my time?
Sea Scape has affiliations with RCI, Interval International and Dial-an-Exchange timeshare exchange service companies. Owner Membership is a must for space banking. Please contact these companies for an overview of their programs and dues. The resort requires that maintenance fees be paid before any space banking will be approved. You can bank time up to 2 years in advance.

What is in my Villa?
Each villa comes equipped with a starter pack that contains one roll of paper towels, one roll of toilet paper in each bathroom, two mini bars of soap for each bathroom, and five gray and five clear trash bags. You must provide your own thereafter. Each regular size villa comes with a fully equipped kitchen including dish washing liquid, linens for all the beds and six bath towels, six hand towels and six washcloths in each bathroom. An iron, an ironing board, and a blow dryer are also available in the villa. There is a free wifi connection in each villa and a house phone, as well. Hotel units come with all of the above except a fully furnished kitchen. Their kitchens have a dorm size refrigerator, a microwave, a crock pot and no dishwasher.
How old do you have to be to Check-In?
Guest must be 21 years of age or older to Check-In.
Can you help with my luggage upon arrival/departure?
Sea Scape is happy to help with your needs. Please contact the resort prior to arrival to make arrangements or check with security at the guard gate.
Am I able to receive messages in my villa?
Each unit has a direct dial telephone. It does not have an answering machine.
Can I fax, photo copy or check my e-mail?
All villas have Wi-Fi connection. You may fax or photocopy small quantities for a small fee. Please contact the property management office for details.
What is my golf privilege?
Sea Scape owners receive 8 rounds of golf at Sea Scape Golf Links per deeded week. These 8 rounds may be used at any time of the year. Owners are responsible for their own cart fees. This privilege is not transferable.
How do I make a tee time?
You must contact Sea Scape Golf Links to arrange a tee time. You will be asked for a credit card to reserve a tee time. Their number is 252-261-2158 or click on the link to the golf course above. Tee time may be made up to a year in advance.
What happens if I need to cancel my tee time? Will I still have my credit card charged?
The golf course reserves the right to charge your credit card if you cancel your tee time within 48 hours.
How do I return my keys?
Keys can be dropped off at Security. There is a $25 fee for lost keys.
Is smoking allowed in the units?
No smoking is allowed in the units. Violators will be fined $300.
How many people are allowed in a unit?
The maximum designated limit for occupancy is six (6) and is mandated by Dare County. Occupancy count must include children.
Do you need a parking pass?
All vehicles must have a parking pass displayed and will be given at Check-In.
Are we allowed to hang items from the deck railings outside?
Refrain from hanging beach towels, bathing suits and other items from deck railings.
Can you bring glass items to the pools?
No glass of any kind is permitted in or around the pool areas.
Are grills allowed on property?
There are two shelter areas on the property, equipped with charcoal grills, designated for grilling out. Grills of any kind (other than resort property), open fires and fireworks are forbidden.
How are issues regarding golf balls handled on property?
Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas is NOT responsible for damage caused by misdirected golf balls. Sea Scape Beach & Golf Villas will not provide medical payment, insurance of property damage coverage to owners or guests.
How does Sea Scape handle harassment on property?
Sea Scape Beach and Golf Villas has a harassment policy that applies to all Unit Week owners, renters, occupants, and their respective invitees of Sea Scape Beach and Golf Villas and acknowledges they shall not engage in any abusive or harassing behavior, whether written, verbal or physical, or any form of intimidation or aggression directed at other Unit Week Owners, renters, occupants, or their respective invitees, or directed at the Board of Directors, the Management Agent, or their respective employees, agents, or vendors.
